Oak Park Elementary School provides an enriched learning environment that has helped countless students become independent, caring, critical thinkers. Founded in 1962, the School is located in Bay Shore and reflects the diverse backgrounds and cultures of the area. I am so proud to be a leader at Oak Park. I started as a fourth grade teacher in Oak Park back in 1996. It was my belief then (as it is now) that children need learning experiences and opportunities that allow them to grow academically, artistically and emotionally. The Oak Park Family includes dedicated staff, families and community members that are committed to ensuring Oak Park children are provided the learning experiences and opportunities necessary for each child to be responsible, respectful and reach their potential. ☮

Estoy muy orgulloso de estar de vuelta en Oak Park como Director. Comencé como maestra de cuarto grado en Oak Park en 1996. It is truly an honor to be back at Oak Park Elementary School to serve as your Assistant Principal. I am excited to work with Ms. Catandella and the talented teachers and staff here at Oak Park. Their love and dedication for our children is exceptional. I look forward to working with the whole school community to help our students reach their potential. I am a firm believer that every child can succeed if they are allowed to use their strengths and passions as tools to achieve. I am certain 2017-2018 will be an exceptional school year for ALL!
